Ken Forsse said that Teddy Ruxpin really
didn't come to life until Phil Baron gave him his voice... likewise
with the voices of Tony Pope & Will Ryan (voicing Grubby,
Gimmick, Tweeg & LB respectively) The characters were all really
given their character by these wonderful
actors.
Other than Phil Baron (Teddy/Burl
Ruxpin) and Will Ryan (Grubby) the other voice actors changed when the
TV show was commissioned for production in Canada. Tony Pope,
who had voiced Gimmick &
LB in the Adventure Series, was the most notable absence. Below
are the list of actors for
each character for both the Book & Tape
"Adventure" series and the Television show. The actors from the 1986
ABC Television Special were the same actors from The
Adventure Series. To the right, I've posted pictures of all the cast
I could find with their name & character below their
