DID YOU KNOW? Teddy's TV show wasn't originally meant to be animation- in 1986 AlchemyII produced a live-action (costume) pilot for The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin but the idea for a series in this format was scrapped due to technical difficulties and cost issues. The pilot was released as an ABC movie of the week in 1986 and can be found on out of print VHS editions on Ebay.
