TEDDY RUXPIN ONLINE STAFF

I began this site 10 years ago this August (2008) and throughout the years I've recieved help from several individuals. A couple of these have become staff members of the site, Information below.

Webmaster Josh Isaacson
I'm a recently turned 24 year old male living in the Western United States. I've been a fan of Teddy Ruxpin since 1986, when I recieved the talking toy as a Present on my 3rd Christmas.  I was further attached to the character when the TV series came on the air.  In the summer of 1997, after a few years in a box, I re-discovered Teddy and took my new found love of the internet, mixed it with my growing fascination of how Teddy Ruxpin worked and the brilliant writing of the stories and put them together to form this website.   By far, the highlight of this project is my continued friendship with Ken Forsse, the brilliant man who created Teddy.

I work a full-time job in the private sector and also have my own part-time business doing small graphics & web design projects. I previously worked for a newspaper as a Graphic Artist and hope to do that again someday, at least if I don't become rich and famous anyway.  In my freetime I enjoy the outdoors, basketball, Country Music Bars and having fun.  I also love movies & other TV shows, my favorites are probably Forrest Gump, Planes Trains & Automobiles, In The Line of Fire and Live Free or Die Hard.  As far as TV goes I like the oldies... Mister Ed, TAXI, Cheers... the one new show I do like is the brilliantly written "Breaking Bad" on AMC.  My favorite musical artists are KISS, Chris LeDoux,
Tim McGraw, Tracy Lawrence and Theory of a Deadman.
My favorite Teddy Ruxpin storylines are "Grubby's Romance",
"The Day Teddy Met Grubby" and the TV episode "Captured"

Josh was interviewed by USA Today in 2006 regarding
Teddy's return.

Art Director Ben Bonser

Ben Bonser is a creative consultant and art director on the site. He aides in the process and sometimes creates graphics for the site, and generally contributes his ideas in brainstorming sessions on design issues.

Ben is an English-born artist and writer who is considered to be that little gnome in Josh's desk drawer. Back in 1999, he began a project based on Teddy Ruxpin with the goals of being part of the creative process behind the Teddy Ruxpin character and to bring the cartoon back to the screens one day. Although his memories of the cartoon are fuzzy at best (he was three at the time), Ben has gathered a lot of information and images to rediscover the World of Teddy Ruxpin. He is the founder of the LegRux-THoR Expansion Project.

His favorite movies are Batman Begins, The Eye (Oriental Horror) and The Ring. on the gaming front, Ben enjoys Project Zero/Fatal Frame, Dynasty Warriors, Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and Devil May Cry 1/2/3.

Ben's favorite music includes Farnheit (Or Indigo Prophecy) Onimusha and various other soundtracks, Korn, Evanesence, Disturbed, Millencollin, Nickleback and Creed's song "Higher"

 Feature Contributor
Vincent Conroy

Vincent is new to the staff, but not to the viewers... Vincent was the webmaster for several years of "Perdicas' Teddy Ruxpin Site"
and out of all of the fansites that popped up in the late 80's, his was by far one of the best. We decided a year or so ago to merge our sites, and I look forward to Vincent's forthcoming contributions to the site, both from the content that he had originally on his own site and content he will add in the future.

Ben did me a favor and combined
two of my favorite things... Grubby and KISS
for this portrait. Excellent.
